Why is it not important the size of the bed, but the size of the mattress?

Today the question is about what size the bed is not particularly correct. And it doesn’t matter, we are talking about a simple single bed, double or bunk: its very size is a meaningless category. But the size of the mattress under which the bed is calculated – the value is really fundamental.

This happens largely because mattresses are often more expensive than beds. A good example is two-tier beds, which are often bought in order to somehow save the useful area of their apartment. Old beds can be removed, but mattresses will still be quite capable of serving on. And the bed will be taken under their size, because bunk beds are rarely expensive, often referring to the economy segment.

A good double bed, unless it is made with many decorative elements, it will be much cheaper than a good double mattress. Accordingly, at first it is more rational to select a mattress, then to adapt to the bed later.

And the dimensions of the bed itself do not fundamentally affect anything: 1-2 centimeters more or less they will take up space-it is no longer so important.
