From antiquity to today

From antiquity to today

For several seasons at the peak of fashion, a thing is such an indispensable thing in the summer wardrobe as a tunic. She is worn everywhere: to work, and on a disco, and on the beach. Let’s remember the story. Who wore it in antiquity? That’s right – ancient Romans. But not only they. And in Byzantium, and in Rus’, and in other countries, the tunic was also worn. How does the tunic differs from other models of blouses and dresses? Everything is very simple: any clothing can be a tunic whose silhouette similar to the letter T is straight, with sleeves to the side, which can be short or long. That is, this is the same simple male or female shirt or shirt, which all peoples have.

Today’s tunik blouses are direct descendants of an ancient relative. Today’s summer season created folklore image tunics. The embroidery is in fashion Ukrainian, Polish, Czech. To decorate, tunics use not only embroidery, but sewing, weaving, various lacing, satin ribbons, braid.

This season, designers gave preference to fabrics with bright flower colors. Naturally, the tunics also became colored and bright and not only thanks to color, but also due to original prints and applications.

Fashionable tunics from translucent fabrics remain fashionable. It is not worth reminding that the addition to such a tunic should be beautiful underwear. In this case, the bottom should be quite modest, for example, jeans and a high heel. This summer, bold and original solutions are only welcome. The only thing to remember is that such an outfit should not be put on a job. But on a date or a disco – once.

In addition to translucent chiffon, tunics are sewn from silk, satin, thin flax and garnish. The collections of leading designers have many different variations on the topic of tunics: shortened, with a deep neckline, with low or high waist, lush and very modest.

Tunics are suitable for almost everyone the only thing to remember – to wide trousers and voluminous skirts, if you just do not want to add volume for yourself, you should not wear them. Tunics look great with leggings, narrow trousers and jeans.
