Under the influence of a modern younger generation, the pristine idea and ideology of emo as a direction was perverted beyond recognition. Now emo is a person who is constantly under the yoke of his problems and troubles, who finds his salvation in negative emotions, tears and suicide. This is somewhat contrary to the prevailing norms and rules of modern society, this is the true reason for this popularity.
The last “wave” of development has its place, also, thanks to the creation and acquisition of the world popularity of the German group Tokyo Hotel. These young guys, with their ambitiousness and confident publication, fell in love with the girls-people and actually made an impetus to the development of the popularity of this musical direction.
